2025 Directors

  • Kelly, Owner & Executive Director

    Kelly is the Co-owner and Director of Hidden Pines Ranch. It is her eleventh year on staff and tenth year as owner. Kelly graduated from the University of Minnesota with an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders and a Masters in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. Her prior camp experience includes 2 years as a camp counselor at Camp Courage in Maple Lake, MN, five years as the Camp Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association of MN, along with many summers spent as a camper at various summer camps in MN. Kelly’s favorite things at Hidden Pines Ranch are the sense of community, belonging and family that is built among the staff and with campers. She is excited about dressing up on Fridays, coming up with new accents for Friday themes, and driveway dance parties.
  • Miss Kris, Summer Director of Early Childhood Programming & Family Experience

    This will be Miss Kris' tenth summer on staff. She also spent 10 years as a preschool teacher at the Children's Farm School in Lake Elmo. Her favorite thing about HPR is how deeply the staff care for campers and each other while having so much fun at the same time.
  • Maddie, Summer Director of Camper Experience & Camper Advocate

    This is Maddie's tenth summer on staff at HPR. During the school year Maddie is a Special Education teacher in the Anoka Hennepin School District. Her favorite thing about HPR is the magic in the air and how everyone is so full of joy, the goats Marv & Harry, dressing up as the tooth fairy, Fridays & spontaneous dance parties. Maddie is excited to announce that she is expecting her first child in June!
  • Noah, Summer Associate Director

    This is Noah’s eighth year on staff. He is currently working as a social studies teacher at Skyview Middle School. His hobbies include D&D, Magic the Gathering, biking, and canoeing. His favorite thing about HPR is how much fun we all have with afternoon activities. He is most excited to see everyone again!

2025 Coordinators

  • Chad

    This is Chad's eighth year on staff, and he's excited to step into the role of a Coordinator! He graduated from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota as a Math Major. He currently teaches Calculus and Statistics at Mounds View High School. He loves spending time outdoors, playing sports, and working on the Minnesota Timberwolves Hype Squad: the Action Pack! His favorite hobbies include playing basketball and volleyball.
  • Becca

    Becca is excited to be returning to HPR as a Coordinator for her fifth summer on staff. Becca studied Biology, Sociology, & the Environment at the University of Minnesota before working as a Youth Programs Manager for Bouldering Project climbing gyms. She is most excited to be back in the fun-loving and high energy environment that is HPR.
  • Ashlynn

    Ashlynn is coming back for her 7th year at HPR as one of our Coordinators! These days when she's not at camp, she teaches 7th grade Special Education. She most enjoys spending time with her dog, River, reading books in her hammock, or soaking up some sunshine. Her favorite campfire treat is Pudgy Pies, specifically the chapple flavor. Ashlynn is most excited to meet all the campers again and see if anyone remembers her from her time as a counselor!

2025 Specialty Positions

  • Amya

    Amya is returning for her third summer as a staff member at HPR. She previously worked as a counselor in the Middle School program and will be a Specialist this year! She graduated from the College of Saint Benedict this May with a degree in Exercise and Health Science (Pre-Physical Therapy) and commissioned as a 2LT Engineer in the U.S. Army. In her free time, she enjoys running, lifting weights, playing pickleball, and cribbage. She's most excited to reunite with returning campers and staff and to soak up the warm, sunny days at camp! Her favorite campfire treat is cherry and apple cobbler.
  • Char

    Char is back for her fifth summer at camp and will be working as a Specialist! She will be a senior this fall at St. Olaf College and is studying biology and public health. She loves hiking, reading, visiting national parks, and playing ultimate frisbee. This summer she is most excited to see all of her old campers and meet all of the new ones!
