Our Middle School program is available to campers entering 7th grade and 8th grade Fall of 2021. The following describes our camp program as it operates Monday through Thursday each week. Fridays are offsite days, where campers engage in educational (exploring local parks, museums, etc.) and fun trips (water park, ropes courses, etc.). Although each day brings new adventures, there is a familiar pattern:

8:10 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Campers arrive*
8:30 a.m. Raise flag, songs and announcements
9:00 a.m. Camper groups assigned to volunteer that day will head out into the community. Groups assigned to stay at camp that day will participate in enriching activities ranging from outdoor cooking, sports, arts & crafts, science and more.
11:30 a.m. Bag lunch (from home)
12:00 p.m. Large group activities such as canoeing and archery
12:50 p.m. Gather at the tennis court for afternoon announcements and songs
1:00 p.m. Three afternoon activity choices
3:00 p.m. Snack (provided)
Large group games/Small Group activities
Capers
3:45 p.m. Group games and team building
4:10 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Pick-up time*

Extended hours are available in the morning, starting at 7:00 a.m. and in the evening, ending at 5:30 p.m.**

*This summer, due to potential COVID restrictions, we may have to expand our drop off and pick up window to allow for reduced numbers of campers arriving and departing at the same time. Once we receive updated guidelines in the coming months we will update registered families.

**Due to potential COVID restrictions, we will open our extended day registration in the spring once we have received updated guidelines for summer 2021.

Available sessions and fees are listed on the Middle School Fees page.

Overnights & Offsite Experiences:

An important component of the Middle School program is the overnights and offsite experiences.  We will plan to evaluate our ability to do offsite programming once we receive guidance for summer 2021 from the Minnesota Health Department.
