Owen
This is Owen's first year on staff! He's a student at UWL studying Exercise Science. He enjoys working out, thrifting, spending time with friends, exploring the outdoors, and sports. Owen is excited to be spending the summer outside most the day. His favorite campfire snack is smore's
Lauren
This will be Lauren's first summer on staff at HPR! Lauren just completed her junior year at Gustavus Adolphus College, where she is on the softball team and studying statistics. Lauren loves spending time with her friends, playing games, enjoying the outdoors, and reading! She is most excited to experience the fun culture that HPR offers and make memories with counselors and campers. Her favorite campfire treat is s'mores with a Reese's peanut butter cup instead of chocolate!
Jack
Jack is back! This will be Jack's fourth year as a counselor, and he will move up to Bridge this year. When not making Pudgies Pies at NCC, Jack will be a senior at the University of Notre Dame this fall, studying Neuroscience and Behavior and minoring in Compassionate Care in Medicine and Musical Theatre. Jack loves reading books, watching TV/movies, listening to music, and hanging out with friends in his free time. He is extremely excited for the bike trips and all-camp games this summer. His favorite NCC treats are campfire donuts and pizza pies. He cannot wait for another amazing year with these awesome kids!!
Illy
Illy is back for her second year of camp and is so excited for the summer! She is currently a student at the University of Minnesota studying Human Resources and Industrial Relations and Business Law. While at school, she plays on the club lacrosse team and is a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. She loves to spend time outdoors, make friendship bracelets, and spend time with family. Her favorite camp food is pizza pies. Illy cannot wait for this coming summer and to see everyone at camp again!
Diego
Diego is here for his first year at camp and is very excited to start! He is currently studying International Business at Century College and working at an Amazon warehouse while not at school. Diego loves the outdoors, soccer (most sports involving a ball), rock climbing, and playing the electric guitar to some metal. He is the most excited to meet everyone and to enjoy the summer in the outdoors. His favorite camp treat is a quesadilla.
Sophia
Sophia is back for her second year at camp and is excited for her first year as a Bridge Counselor! She is currently a student at the University of Minnesota, studying Journalism and Fine Arts, and working at the student paper as an Arts & Entertainment reporter. When she's not at camp, she likes to be out in nature with a good book and an overpriced iced coffee, or hunting down her next vinyl record in the Twin Cities. She is most excited to see campers again and play "Sophia's Extreme Spoons" again, which she has been practicing while away at school. Her favorite treat is anything from NCC with chocolate!
